CENTRE MANAGER – Casual Position (several positions)
The position of centre manager is responsible for:
- The onsite operation of the centre during the winter season.
- Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships with staff, parents and children.
- Directing and the supervision of centre staff.
- Liaising with the club’s executive and administrative staff.
Positions Available
- Saturday mornings – during terms 2 and 3 of 2012.
- Sunday mornings – during terms 2 and 3 of 2012
- Sunday afternoons – during term 4
Essential Attributes
The club is seeking people who meet the follow essential attributes:
- Enthusiastic, friendly and enjoy working with a variety of people.
- Be self-motivated, organized and comfortable working independently.
- Able to co-ordinate, lead and direct staff.
- Comfortable working with children
- Access to internet and email.
- Be fluent in the use of English, both oral and written.
Desirable Attributes
- Have a drivers license and own transport.
- Able to work with Microsoft Office or similar software packages.
- Have an interest in soccer or other sports.
Job Description
The centre manager’s role requires approx. 3-4 hours per week split between preparation for and operation of the weekend session. In this time requirement, managers may need to carry out routine administrative and logistic tasks to support the role.
In addition to the in-season Saturday sessions, centre managers are required to attend two pre-season education and orientation sessions as well as a mid-season and a post season staff meeting.
Centre managers are assisted in their role by the club’s full time administration staff.
Remuneration
Remuneration is paid per session. The pay scale ranges from the base rate of $50 to a top rate of $300 per session based on the manager’s experience, merit and the success of their centre.
Additional Information
The club would like to encourage any person who is interested in the role to apply. Experience is not essential however enthusiasm, willingness to learn and the confidence to show initiative is. Applicant’s need to be at least 18 years of age. Successful applicants are required to submit to police and ‘working with children’ checks before being appointed.

Coaches
Assistant and Squad Coaches
Kids Football Club is a great place to start your coaching career. If you’re 13 years or over and interested in coaching young players in a friendly and enthusiastic environment we welcome you to come and see what we’re all about. All training is provided, you only have to bring a smile and lots of enthusiasm. We provide a detailed curriculum for you to follow and onsite mentoring and supervision so assistance is always close at hand. It’s a great way to start coaching, learning on the job whilst you earn some money for the experience.
Supervising Coaches
The club is seeking more experienced coaches to supervise and mentor our assistant and squad coaches. Responsible for the technical aspects of the program and overseeing the delivery of the club’s curriculum this is an opportunity to develop our next generation of young coaches. Excellent people skills and being comfortable with directing and supervising staff essential. Remuneration for Supervising coaches is available on enquiry.
